Great job these past couple of weeks. I know a lot of people call Northrend raiding “easy”, but when you raid less than 10 hours a week as we normally do, it’s a lot more difficult to get all those targets in before the instances reset.

We’ll continue to push Naxx since there are so many upgrades available in such a “small” place. We’ll also be checking in on 25-man Malygos and Sartharion (with a drake or two) as well as Archavon since he’s such a quick kill.

Rolling Through Raid Content

We continue our progress through Naxx and the rest of the Northrend raiding content. Lately, we’ve downed Sartharion with one drake up. We’ve also taken out Patchwerk, Grobbulus, Gluth, Thaddius, and Sapphiron. We got Kel’thuzad down to 5% as well. He dies soon.

Recruiting Update

Last Call is still recruiting; however, we’ll be limiting classes and roles. Our current needs follow:

High Need - Healers (any flavor), DPS Casters (ele shaman, lock, mage, shadow priest)

Low Need - Prot Pally, Ret Pally, other DPS (excluding those in the No Need list)

Closed - Hunters, Feral Druids, all other tanks

Exceptions can be made in certain exceptional cases and are typically restricted to close friends or family of existing members. Please see Epifhany, Daks, or Thistle for more information. Or head over to our Recruiting Board.

Northrend Raiding Update

We’ve been really bad about getting killshots, so no screenies this time around. But we’re still rolling through Northrend raid content. Since the last update, we’ve cleared 10-man Naxx. We’ve also killed Sartharion, Archavon, Razuvious, Gothikk, Anub’Rekhan, the Grand Widow, and Maexxna on 25-man (heroic) mode.

Great work by everyone! Let’s keep that momentum rolling!

Northrend Kills!

We’ve started working our way through Northrend’s raid content the past couple of weeks. So far, we’ve downed Archavon, Anub’Rekhan, the Grand Widow, and Sartharion with 10-man raids.

We also knocked out Noth, Heigann, and Loatheb for a 25-man Plague Quarter clear and with our buds in Tenebrae Cor, we put 25-man Sartharion down (sorry, no pic of that one).

Some of us have seen it in mixed groups and pugs, this is the first time we’ve done it as a guild. Thanks to Cynan of TC for filling in when we had a couple of last-minute cancellations.

Guild Roster Working

There is now a working guild roster that feeds off the WoW Armory. It’s a bit slow to load, but you can blame that on Blizzard…or Thistle. Either will do.

Last Call is Recruiting

We’re looking to add a few folks to our group. Specifically we could use a couple more healers. While any variety would be nice, we’re especially in need of another Holy Paladin. We also have room for some caster DPS. Namely an Elemental Shaman and/or Balance Druid. Finally, we could also use another Protection Paladin that carries a healing set and isn’t afraid to use it.

We’re always open to real-life friends and family members of existing members and are open to consideration for others in special cases (namely well-geared folks looking for a more relaxed and casual raiding experience). Just remember there are a limited number of raid spots and an over-abundance of a particular roll means those folks are more likely to sit out.
